Comparing scans

What changed in a location since its previous scan.

What is kept

SpareDisk keeps the previous completed scan of each location alongside the current one.

Reading the change

The location's bar shows the change since the last scan. Clicking it lists top-level folders and files that grew, shrank, were added or were removed, sorted by the size of the change.

Unreadable folders

A folder that could not be read is reported as unreadable, never as removed.
